Temporary Permitting System Service Interruption for Scheduled Upgrade


The City of Des Plaines will be upgrading its online permitting system to a new cloud-based platform which is intended to improve system reliability and performance.


As part of this transition, the permitting system will be unavailable beginning on Wednesday, April 15, through Thursday, April 16.


During this time, residents, business owners, contractors, and other applicants will not be able to access the online Citizen Self Service (CSS) permitting system.
